Tissue mobilisation – Clinic 360 | Leeds

Soft tissue mobilisation is a form of manual physical therapy during which we apply hands-on techniques to your muscles, ligaments and fascia. It can be very effective in helping to improve range of motion, lengthen muscles and tendons, reduce swelling, restore functionality and decrease pain.

Tissue mobilisation may form part of your overall treatment plan. Injection therapy, for example, may reduce inflammation, exercises will strengthen supporting muscles and soft tissue mobilisation will help loosen joint and tissue stiffness.

Post trauma and after surgery tissues can become stiff and blood flow, muscle function and joint range of movement can become limited. Whilst exercises are essential to the correction of these problems, hands on tissue mobilisation can optimise your recovery and get you back to health in the fastest possible time.

We provide all of the above as part of a complete package of evidenced based care.
