Josh Wheatley has a diploma in Medical Ultrasound. Coming from a physiotherapy background with an MSc from Leeds Metropolitan University, Josh has spent the last 5 years working in both the private sector and the NHS refining and developing his clinical skills in the management of musculoskeletal conditions.
With a specific interest in ultrasound sonography, Josh is able to provide diagnostic imaging of all peripheral joints, highlighting objective markers of clinically significant pathology. This imaging enables the recommendation of guided interventions to allow for the best possible outcomes along with monitoring the progress of a rehabilitation programme.
Josh remains focused on the attainment of best health, understanding that a correct diagnosis is fundamental to this principle. Whether your problem is sport based, work-related, degenerative or indeed a specific pathology, Josh, through a clinical assessment combined (where suitable) with real-time imaging is able to confidentially diagnose a large degree of MSK conditions. Where this is not possible, Josh will guide patients in order for them to reach such answers.
Key skills include:
- Extended clinical experience in differential diagnosis
- MSK sonographer
- Ultrasound guided interventions
