Joshua Wheatley is a musculoskeletal practitioner, working in both the private sector and the NHS in the Clinical assessment and treatment services (CATS). Coming from a physiotherapy background, Josh provides patients with direct access to expert assessment, integrated diagnostic ultrasound scans and a wide array of ultrasound guided interventions depending on the underlying pathology. Joshua is currently completing in the region of 40 to 50 diagnostic scans and interventional procedures a week for patients with musculoskeletal problems.
Joshua remains focused on the attainment of best health, understanding that a correct diagnosis is fundamental to this principle, allowing patients to be put on the right clinical pathway as quickly as possible. Joshua, through a clinical assessment combined (where suitable) with point of care ultrasound (POCUS) is able to diagnose a large degree of musculoskeletal conditions, put these findings in a clinical context to advise on appropriate treatment and prognosis. Where this is not possible, Joshua will guide patients in order for them to reach such answers.
